What you really need to understand about Traffic…
Today I would like to talk to you about online business and traffic. There is a really big misunderstanding about traffic and as more and more people start to talk about this it will hopefully get the message out there to everyone. There is a big thing that most people don’t understand about traffic. Traffic is just like everything out there, you have good and bad. Or High quality and Low quality traffic. Most people think that they can get traffic very cheaply and think that traffic is as good as any other. Well I’m sorry to say it is not. If your just giving things away then it doesn’t matter what traffic you get but when you trying to make money online it really does matter. You won’t make any money or have any real success online if your not getting High Quality Traffic. Sure you may make a sale here or there but your not really going to be making the money that you need to survive online and build a business online. Everyone hopefully knows that it takes money to run a business. It doesn’t matter what type of business you own, be it, a brick and mortar business or online (virtual) business. If you don’t get good quality traffic in any business then you will not succeed. There are three main ways you get traffic online:
1.) Search: Organic search (SEO) traffic is high value because it’s consistent and based on intent. But it’s also hard to get. It takes time and expertise to build up the right factors, and the “rules of the game” are constantly changing.
2.) Referral: Referral traffic comes from other websites. Think of these as the communities around other blogs, social networks, etc. They provide great boosts of traffic, but taper off over time. It also takes weeks, months, and years to develop the relationships needed to generate substantial traffic from these sources.
3.) Paid: Paid traffic is both predictable and highly-targeted. But it costs money up front, and you need to know how to value each lead properly if you want a positive ROI.
All of these ways can get you both good and bad traffic. It is up to you to do your due diligence to discover which traffic sources that you are getting. I will be making more posts to help you to determine which forms of traffic you will be getting. I for one prefer the Paid traffic technique. Paid traffic is easier to predict and it is absolutely scalable. Here is an example of a High Quality Traffic source: http://highendtraffic.com/
This is a Site called H.E.T.. It was founded by Corey Boatright and John Chow. They created this site to solve the problem that most people have when trying to build a business online. The site brings people high quality traffic for a reasonable price and it is totally scalable. John Chow is a very respectful and quality driven person that would not put his name on something that he doesn’t believe in. I hope you have enjoyed this article and that it has brought you so really good quality information. Leave me a comment below if there is anything that you would like to add. Have a wonderful day and I look forward to writing some more tomorrow.
